People often to say that you have to develop your own signature sound so that you can stand out from the rest .That ‘s true . The music industry does not want another Martin Garrix or Calvin harris in the scene,they want something new which is promotable or marketable to attract the listeners.
Before you even start learning sound design,you have to know what generates those sounds that we hear in songs that we listen to everyday . They are known as the synthesizers. A synthesizer is an electronic musical instrument that generates electric signals that are converted to sound through instruments amplifiers and loudspeakers or headphones.
Yess ! Researchers are discovering how music affects the brain, helping us to make sense of its real emotional and social power.
Who among us doesn’t have a similar story about a song that touched us. Wheather attending a concert, listening to the radio ,or singing in the shower ( like me lol.) there ‘s something about music that can fill us with emotion, from joy to sadness. Some of us have special emotion to feel music , getting goose bumps while listening to music .

Okay now ! Question is – What does song-writing mean to you personally ? Is it trying to tell a story through your compositions?…..Or….. Is it a way for you to express your emotions .
We all have our ways to or methods to write music . As one may start with the drop (climax) section, others may start with the breakdown . One may start with programming the drums but some producers tend to start a song by writing its melody . So there is no any permanent way to writing song with rules. Everyone have there own ways.
But some general things which you need to keep in mind while writing melody . Lets discuss them in points . —->
CHORDS~
A chord , in music , is any harmonic set of pitches consisting of two or more ( usually three ) notes ( also called ” pitches “) . that are heard as if sounding simultaneously.
LEADS ( Top Melody) ~
A linear succession of musical tones that the listener perceives as a single entity.
GROOVES ~
In Music ,the groove is the sense of propulsive rhythmic “feel” or snse of “swing” .
RHYTHM~
The pattern of regular or irregular pulses caused in music by the occurrence of strong and weak melodic and harmonic beats.
SCALE~
There are 2 common types of scale – MAJOR SCALE ( usually known as happy scale ) & MINOR SCALE (the sad scale ).
MIXING~
Once you have all your melodies written and sounds ready . ~
The process of blending sounding together so that they sound good with with each other is known as the mixing process.
In the wake of actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death, singer Sonu Nigam had posted videos in which he called out the ‘mafia’ in the Indian music industry. Echoing similar thoughts, singer Adnan Sami said that the Indian music industry needs a ‘herculean shakeup’.
“The Indian Film & Music Industry SERIOUSLY needs a ‘Herculean‘ SHAKE UP. Especially in the context of music, New Singers, Veteran Singers, Music Composers & Music Producers – who are being exploited to the HILT!! “Fall into the DICTAT or you’re OUT”… Why is creativity beyond “CONTROLLED” by those you have no clue about ‘creativity’ & are trying to play GOD?? (sic)” Sami wrote in his latest social media post.
She said ‘ opened up about her beliefs on a recent episode of her Apple Music radio show, me & dad radio, telling her listeners: “I don’t know if any of you know – I don’t think I’ve ever talked about it. When I was little, when I was a little kid, I was super religious for no damn reason.
My family never was religious. I didn’t know anyone that was religious. And for some reason, as a little girl, I just was incredibly religious… And then at one point, I don’t know what happened. It just completely went away.”
The change of direction came so quickly that Billie felt “almost anti-religious for no reason” for a brief period.
